I felt blessed the day I met you three years ago and to this day I thank God I had the opportunity to know you, work with you and become friends. I'm so sad I was unable to visit with you, being contagous for over three weeks and feel so cheated to have not had the opportunity to talk and say goodbye. I will miss you. Monica, Gwennie and Paul - my heart goes out to you. God bless you for all your endearing love and selfless devotion to her care. You are truly wonderful people. Love to you all, Darlene
I don't know your family but heard about your Mom's passing through Pam McCutcheon,a fellow organizer. I am very sorry for your loss, and your comments touched a place in my heart.
I lost my Mom to cancer back in 2003, also at home in hospice care. It's such a hard thing to go through. Sounds like you did all you could for her to make her comfortable and loved so much. It's the greatest gift you can give to a loved one who is passing.
I wish your pain to pass as quickly as your heart allows, and I can assure you the old adage reallhas proven true for me....their memories do live on in our hearts.
Liz, you will be so missed - thank you for all that you have taught me. Monica & Gwennie, you are the most incredible young women that a mother could ask for. You are always in my thoughts and prayers.
I think of you and I thank you -- and Liz, an angel who is guide and inspiration for always. Liz transitioned with spirit, courage and grace from this life to the next, earning her angel wings through her kindness, charity, humanity and love. She holds you most dear, and is blessed to have her treasured family by her side. I will keep Liz and the blessing of our friendship in my heart, Filomena
Liz was one of the most amazing women I have ever had the pleasure of calling a true friend.
Monica and Gwennie, you are two of the most amazing gifts your mother gave the world! I love you both very much and am so proud of you.
If you think you get rid of me now, think again. As I told your mother, you are stuck with a big sister whether you like or not! (I am way too immature to be anyone's mother :))
I love you both, and am always just a phone call and car ride away 24/7/365/lifetime.
To Coco, Natalie, Caroline, Stephanie, Eric, Tom, Marilyn, Matt, Paul...all of the brothers/sisters/family and friends (a.k.a fireplace gang)...
You are all incredible! There are no words to describe how sorry I am that you all lost a sister and friend so early. Elisabeth/ Babette/Liz will live forever in your hearts.
Thank you for welcoming and allowing me the honor of spending time with you all during this difficult journey.
A warm smile and a loyal friend is what I remember most about Liz. She has two amazing daughters to carry on her legacy of love and caring. Our thoughts are with you Monica and Gwennie. love amy and allen
I was so happy to get to know Liz through our "LEO" group and have our very special time together in Denver a few years ago. She was truly an inspiration to all of us and a sharp businessperson too. I am so touched by the warmth and love shown in these posts. Thank you for sharing this experience with us.
Liz truly was extraordinary. every day. She lived her life with Amazing Grace and the world is a better place because of her. I am blessed for having known her, albeit for far too short a time; and we are blessed by having Monica and Gwennie, and her loving family, with us still. She may be gone, but she will never be forgotten ...
My mom has been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love from family and friends during her brawl with bladder cancer, and even more so since this new diagnosis of ureter cancer. I've developed this as a means of keeping everyone informed and up to date (with my mother's blessing, of course), and hope you'll all find it as informative and helpful to read as it will be therapeutic for me to write.
